2011 Ferrari Video Explains

The Ferrari FF has attracted a lot of attention at this year's Geneva Motor Show, mostly for its shooting-brake shape and top-of-the-range status. But for tech lovers, what really stands out about this car is the four-wheel-drive system under its skin, a first for a series production Ferrari model. Understanding how the system works beats everything else for engineering geeks, so Ferrari has offered us a detailed video on the 4WD system. As the company previously stated, the 4RM configuration weighs 50 percent less than conventional four-wheel-drive systems and doesn't affect the ideal weight distribution (53/47 rear/front). When grip is high, torque is sent to the rear wheels only, as with any other Ferrari.

VIDEO: Ferrari 458 Italia Filmed on the Road!

We are more than aware of the fact that you can't get enough of Ferrari's latest supercar, so we couldn't pass the chance to share with you this video showing a pair of 458 Italia prototypes that were caught on the road in Maranello, Italy, by Youtube user "marchettino". Due to make its world debut in Frankfurt, the Pininfarina-styled Ferrari 458 Italia is powered by a new 4.5-liter V8 engine churning out 570HP, good enough to propel the Prancing Horse model from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in under 3.4 sec. The promotional video is only 21 seconds long, but that's more than enough to get a taste of what the F430 replacement's 570-horsepower V8 engine sounds like. VIDEO: Ferrari Shows Off 599 GTB with HGTE Sport Kit at Millbrook

For those existing 599 GTB Fiorano owners that are still not convinced about the benefits of the Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione sport kit that just became available as an aftermarket package, Ferrari has released a new video of a 599 GTB GHTE lapping the Millbrook Proving Ground test center in Bedfordshire, England.
